Hello from the Hive!

Annabelle: Head Honey

“I have the best bees in the business”

My two Historical Icons are: Henry VIII & Anne Boleyn everytime.

When I’m not in the Hive I will be: Finding every possible excuse I can to dress up as Anne Boleyn. Eating Chorizo. Traipsing around castles. Talking about castles. Trying to persuade my friends to take me to a castle. Photoshopping. Drinking Devonshire cider. Using historical fiction as escapism.

For all advertising and press enquiries please drop Annabelle an email

Jenna: Operations Bee

My two Historical Icons are: Marie Antoinette & John Lennon (Massive Beatles fan!)

When I’m not in the Hive you can find me: Drinking Mary Pickfords…and Kraken (it’s the new Sailor Jerry’s!). Dabbling in nail art. Consuming historical fiction, the smuttier the better in my opinion. Wishing, wishing, wishing that I could wake up and live like Marie Antoinette for a day! And finally; three small, yet significant words: Game Of Thrones! ‘Mon the Starks!

If you would like to become a contributor please email Jenna

Polly: Social Bee

My two Historical Icons are: Leonardo da Vinci (for all round genius) & Agatha Christie (travelling the world and writing crime fiction – my ideal life).

When I’m not in the Hive you can find me: Singing in my local choir, or singing anywhere (I love to annoy the neighbours). On the occasional archaeological dig, I try to get dirty whenever possible. Or on the hunt for the perfect amaretto sour. That, or traipsing round castles with Annabelle.
