Machu Picchu photo diary

This time last year I went on the most incredible trip to Peru – which I bang on about to anyone who will listen – and as cliched as it is, it changed so many things in my life for the better; it will forever be one of the best decisions I have ever made. However, for how amazing it was, I just realised that I’ve never shared any of that journey with you on this site! So here we go… on this day we woke up at 3am to trek the final stretch of the Inca trail to our final destination, Machu Picchu. We had to wait by the gates in the dark for a good hour where we laid in the dirt and listened to music. When the sun came out, the clouds emptied and it rained heavily as we passed through the sun gate and couldn’t see all that much. BUT by the time we made it to the Inca city the rain held off and we had the most magical couple of hours…

Sandrine – my soul mate from Peru.

Me and my buddy Stu (do me a favour and head over to his Instagram and tell him to quit his job and become a professional photographer, he is ridiculously talented).

I’ll post some more photos from the trip soon…
